Another lunch, another place to try. Today, we stopped by PoBoy Jims, and they didn't disappoint. It wasn't crowded, and our food was solid. We ordered the deviled eggs and added shrimp and a cheesesteak, and they were delicious. Also, their lemonade is fantastic!

A good spot for Po Boys in the columbia area! The foods are prepared and seasoned well. I had a shrimp po boy and it was very good and so were the fries. The drinks were great as well. The only thing i wish was that the happy hour menu was the same at all locations.

I'm a big fan of Creole and New Orleans style flavors and this place delivers. The shrimp po boy can come grilled or fried shrimp, today I tried fried. The sandwich was perfect! The Cesar salad was scrumptious and had a lot of cheese. I also got the small bowl of gumbo from the appetizers it was excellent and had a good kick. The hurricane was also worth grabbing and I am definitely planning to come here again for drinks! I took the beignets to go and they just didn't hold up well. I'll have to try them fresh in the future. The spot is cute with lamps hanging from the ceiling but they are pretty dusty and the music was a little too loud for the restaurant. Overall great food and nice services!

Those of you who have been/lived in the DMV for a while, may know Poboy Jim, who originally opened up in DC. They have a new location in Columbia, Maryland, and I decided to take the drive and try it out for brunch. Fun fact; I had never been to Poboy Jim, so this was my first ever, Poboy gym experience, and I was not disappointed by the flavors. Their twist on Creole food left my pallet yearning for more. I especially loved the gumbo, combo beignets, honey, bourbon, infused chicken, and the chicken. The crabcakes and the crab/shrimp omelette were also finger licking good. You know when food is good when you put it in the air fryer the next day and it taste just like the restaurant. They offer other cocktails however, we deferred to the passionfruit mimosa, which was pretty tasty. I would also like to give a special shout out to our waitress, as there were callouts which created slower service than usual. However, she remain calm, continue to smile, and did her best to ensure we were having a great time.

I come for lunch. Usually not very busy. Sandwiches are WHAM and BAM. Hearty, just what you'd want in a PO Boy. Quite good. Satisfying. Fries are fresh and crisp. Service? It's not Chick-fil-A speed, but it is a southern restaurant, yah? Seems like they do have some consistency issues, but I'm only rating my experience of dining here 2x. The other time I ordered the oyster po boy, and it was also spot on. It's a small business. Give them time to grow and refine. Their Sandwiches are worth the trip here.

First time here 11/16/2023. Ashley was our server and she was great! She appeared to be the only one working out front but was a BOSS! Very attentive and informative about the menu. See pictures: we ordered the Bbq poboy, cracker fettuccine, onion rings, crab poppers. FYI he got the poboy minus the lettuce and tomato. We also ordered beignets. The slaw was good and the BBQ was good. It was a little too wet for the bread so it was eaten without the bread. The onion rings as a side was good as well. The portion was larger than I expected. The crab popper was really good alone or in the sweet n spicy chili sauce. The crab fettuccine was on point. Generous crab portions on top of a Cajun cream sauce and fettuccini noodles was perfect. The beignets were not authentic. They were not light but heavy. Not horrible but not authentic. Not a bad experience and I left full! Great job Ashley for holding it down!!! Give her a raise!!

The ordering process was easy. The wait time to pickup my order was relatively short. The staff was helpful. I ordered a fried shrimp Po Boy with fries. The Po Boy came with lettuce, tomato, sautéed onions and chipotle mayo. I also ordered a Hurricane. There were two varieties of the Hurricane, so I opted for the one with the least amount of alcohol. The food was good. The shrimp were nicely fried. The fries were freshly cooked and well seasoned. Initially, the drink was not strong, but by the end it was all alcohol. The ambiance was fine. It was nicely decorated and clean. The location is conveniently located near the mall, as well as other residential and retail. I will most likely return to try something different.
